Frequently asked questions

Questions raised in early conversations with construction companies considering Set2Build. The answers are deliberately direct and light on product jargon, so the operating principles are clear before getting into technical detail.

Does the app provide safety management tools like other apps in the market?

No. The app and supporting system provide a framework for implementing cultural change and continuous improvement for each field manager. The focus is the human factor: management behavior, interpersonal communication, and the practical and mental readiness needed on site.

Who reviews report quality and provides feedback?

A manager from the construction company reviews reports and provides feedback according to fixed parameters, with knowledge of the people on site and the status of each project. In parallel, Set2Build uses AI-assisted analysis and summarization in the daily feedback process. Media analysis from reports is currently in research and development.

Does the app work without an internet connection?

Yes, for the reporting action itself. When reception on site is weak or unavailable, the app continues to work: the report and its attachments are saved locally on the device, and upload resumes in the background when connectivity returns. Viewing other people's reports, approval actions, and push notifications require a connection.

How is our data protected from other companies on the same platform?

Each company works inside its own data and permission space. The system is designed for multi-company operation, with separation between companies, access control, and a permission model that prevents users from accessing information that does not belong to their workspace.

Is any information shared with third parties?

Information is not sold and is not shared for advertising. Like modern cloud systems, Set2Build uses infrastructure and service providers for operation, storage, messaging, automation, and authentication, including cloud services, SMS, and integration channels. Full details appear in the privacy and terms documents.

Is visual information retained?

Yes. Visual-data retention policy is defined according to company needs and implementation processes. A default deletion policy after a defined period is on the roadmap, so it should not yet be presented as active behavior for every customer.

How are new team members added?

Through a site-specific QR code. A company admin or authorized project manager generates the code from the management panel and distributes it. A person who scans the code receives the company name, site list, and role list, chooses their role, and waits for manager approval.

Are passwords required?

No. Field users sign in with a one-time code sent by SMS or email. Organization admins working in a Microsoft environment can also use an organizational authentication channel when it is configured for the company.

Which operating systems are supported?

The app is currently available on Google Play for Android users in Israel. The iOS version is intended to become available after Apple review.

Does the system integrate with existing organizational systems?

Yes. The system is designed to connect with existing workflows, including monday.com and report outputs. Connections to Microsoft environments, including Entra ID and SharePoint, exist as a technical pathway and are activated according to customer needs.

Who sees my score and written feedback?

The 1-5 score and written comments that a field manager receives for a completed routine stay between that manager, their project manager, and the site program champion. The report cards themselves are visible to site users, but the score and written feedback are a separate and more limited layer.

Is the app adapted for Hebrew?

Yes, fully. The Hebrew interface is right-to-left from end to end, with Hebrew terminology aligned to the Safety Stars Program and a rhythm adapted to field work. Additional language support is on the roadmap, but is not currently available in the app interface.

How does senior leadership get an overall view?

Through summary reports in DOCX or PDF format generated from system data and delivered through channels the company already uses, such as SharePoint folders or organizational email, when the connection is configured for the company.

Is there support for training managers and company champions?

Yes. The service package includes guidance, follow-up, and support. In Set2Build's view, the construction company should take full responsibility for leading its managers, so the support is focused on training managers and process leaders from within the company.

Are training and management aids provided for better routine performance on site?

Yes. The company provides paid multilingual training aids and readiness-management tools according to the customer's implementation needs.
